two legends gone
today was bit of a strange day for me. with so many emotions &feelings unexpressed. . . i celebrate the LIFE of two legends. the deaths of farrah fawcett and michael jackson have struck the world. many of you know me for struttin' my farrah hair... damn i love feathered bangs! her beauty and bombshell hair will always be an icon. prayers. . .
step back & think. in many languages around the world, people are speaking of michael jackson. today i twittered tht i felt as though my childhood died. wht an impact michael jackson had on my life. with not knowing exactly how to feel, i called moms and her simple statement was, "the death of michael jackson, for your generation, is like the death of marvin gaye for my generation." i was so struck by tht statement and it keeps rewinding itself back. . . over &over within my head. to a man of many talents. . . to his family and friends of many lengths. . . we pray.
